As a rumored disagreement with Goodison teammates, Everton plans to trade “sneaky” Neal Maupay.

The forward is presently on loan at Brentford for the season, where he has netted five goals in the ongoing Premier League campaign.

Former Everton manager Frank Lampard initially brought Maupay to Goodison Park, as reported by the official Everton website on 26 August 2022, with Dyche subsequently loaning him out.

There’s speculation about whether Everton will opt to sell Neal Maupay.

Maupay was recently involved in incidents against Tottenham, including a scuffle with James

Maddison, and a tussle with Kyle Walker during the Manchester City match on Monday, 5 February.

Regarding the possibility of Maupay being transferred by Everton in the summer, King expressed

his thoughts to Goodison News, saying, “Oh yeah.

I liked him when he moved to Goodison because he had pace, but he was overpriced.

You’re going to get it all the time, even going back to my day, players used to talk to other players they knew they could wind up.

But he seems sneaky to me. Something obviously went wrong for him at Goodison, that’s for sure.

I wouldn’t be surprised if he fell out with a couple of players at Everton, which caused the move.

Dyche doesn’t like him; he didn’t buy him. Lampard’s recruitment record was shocking.”

In contrast to his time at Goodison Park, Maupay has made a positive impression during his spells in

West London, approaching the milestone of 50 goals for Brentford.
