Sean Dyche may have a double injury boost going into Crystal Palace’s Everton match.

Everton are anticipating the return of their top scorer, Abdoulaye Doucoure, for their upcoming clash against Crystal Palace at Goodison Park after a nine-day break following their match against Manchester City.

Manager Sean Dyche is hopeful that Doucoure, who has scored six goals this season,

including one against Crystal Palace in their previous encounter, will be fit to play.

Doucoure has been sidelined due to hamstring injuries and has only featured in one of Everton’s last 11 matches since December 16.

Dyche mentioned that they are expecting updates on Doucoure’s condition during the week.

If Doucoure returns, it could lead to tactical changes, with Jack Harrison possibly

moving back to his usual position

on the right wing, and Ashley Young potentially shifting to right-back, replacing the injured Ben Godfrey.

However, this decision could mean competing with Seamus Coleman and Nathan

Patterson for the right-back position.

Dyche also mentioned that Arnaut Danjuma could be out for the rest of the month due to an ankle injury, but Amadou Onana’s return from injury provides another option in midfield.

Onana impressed during his brief appearance against Manchester City, raising questions about

the starting lineup and whether James Garner or Idrissa Gueye might make way for him.
